Mathematics - Duerksen  : Course 2
Course 2
- Standard math course for 7th graders 
- This course will include a study of a variety of topics that align to the State Math Standards. 
   http://www.ksde.org/Default.aspx?tabid=141  This class will prepare students to take the State Math Assessment in April. 
- Upon completion of this course students will take Course 3 as an 8th grader.


Keys to Success:
* Bring required materials to class daily.
* Take notes and refer back to them for homework and when studying for quizzes and tests.
* Complete assignments when they are due.
* Ask for help when needed.

100% - 90%  A 
  89% - 80%  B
  79% - 70%  C 
  69% - 60%  D 
  59% and below F

Homework: 5 to 10 pts each
   (if turned in late you receive 1/2 credit till test)
Projects: 20 pts each
  (if turned in late late 10% off each day)
